Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation is thrilled to participate in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026 Charity Programme for the first time this year, charity quotas are allocated for us to fundraise for our services and programmes.

Registration Details
The Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation has been allocated 50 Charity Runner quotas among the three races for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026. Charity Runners may select their preferred race for registration.

◆ Electronic donation receipt issued; donations of HK$100 or above qualify for tax deduction application
Entry Requirements
Race Group: Full Marathon
◆ Full Marathon participants must be 20 years old or above as of 2026 (Count by Year of Birth).
◆ Applicants MUST have successfully completed at least one race (10km or longer distance) in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon or any local / overseas races between 1 January 2024 and 31 July 2025. Applicants are also required to provide factually the Finishing Time.
◆ Estimated Finishing Time must be submitted upon registration, which will be taken into consideration when the Organizer allocates the race category and start time to participants.
Race Group: Half Marathon and 10km
◆ Half Marathon and 10km participants must be 16 years old or above as of 2026 (Count by Year of Birth).
◆ Applicants are required to honestly provide their estimated Finishing Time, which will be taken into consideration when the Organizer allocates the race category and start time to participants.
Registration Procedure
◆ Charity Runners must download and complete the “Registration Form” to apply for a charity quota for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2026. Please note that the form is for registration purposes only. Please return the form to Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation Limited via email.
◆ Once Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation receives the “Registration Form”, a “Registration Confirmation and Donation Notice” will be sent via email within three working days. Please complete the donation within three days and email the donation record back.
◆ After confirming the donation, Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation will send a “Qualification Confirmation Notice” via email to verify your successful application as a Charity Runner. If the donation is not completed by the specified date, Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation reserves the right to cancel the Charity Runner’s participation.
◆ The Qualification Confirmation email will include the official online registration link provided by The Organiser (The Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates Limited). Charity Runners must complete registration by November 14, 2025. Failure to register by this date will be considered a forfeiture of participation eligibility.
◆ Charity Runners will receive the “Registration Result Notification” email from the Organizer in December 2025.
Important Notice
1. Please ensure all contact information is accurate and valid to receive notifications from Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation and The Organizer (The Hong Kong, China Association of Athletics Affiliates Limited) for future communications.
2. Charity Runners must complete registration by November 14, 2025 via the official online registration system. Failure to register successfully by this date will be considered a forfeiture of participation eligibility.
3. Charity runners whose registrations have not been confirmed will not be allowed to participate and duplicate registrations will be rejected without prior notice.
4. After verification of the registration information, a Runner’s Pack Collection Email including race category and start time will be sent by The Organizer to each of the Charity Runners by late December 2025.
5. The Organizer has the right to verify and request for verification of the age of participants before, during and after the Event.
6. This Event is a charitable fundraising activity. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for donations collected through this Event. In case of any disputes, reserves Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation reserves the final decision-making authority.
7. Please note that all information related to the Event is subject to the Organizer’s latest announcements.
